Now I've finally got my safety pins and can continue with the quilt

First, I spread out the backing with seamy side up and securely taped around all edges. Tighten a little but not too much so that all the creases and wrinkles disappear.

Same thing with the batting, smooth out and tape around. I used cotton wool.
Och så till sist framsidan. Kolla så att bakstyckets mittdel stämmer överens med framsidans mitt. Tejpa ännu en tredje gång runtom hela täcket. Jag använde målartejp.
And then finally the quilt top. Check that the middle part of the backing is consistent with the front middle. Tape yet a third time across the entire quilt. I used painter's tape.

396 pins!!! I thought it would take longer than it did. The size of the squares are 6", so it was enough with 4 needles in each square.
